well as the old adage goes....

its all about timing...ur memory timings determined in layman terms...how fast ur computer can go....

u see ur computer is made up of ur cpu, mobo, ram and drives....

the optimum setup for a pc is a ram, mobo and cpu with timings that are more or less on par with each other...

kinda like using a ferrari testarossa on a f1 circuit....it would work wonderfully welll....try it on a brazilian highway and ur car is screwed....

so u must match ur timings as per ur cpu capability and it very much also depends on the mobo and ram manufacture itself...

from ur post, ur ram can go a long way some more in terms of timings...however, can u furnish more details on ur mobo, cpu and ram (manufacturer and so on) for more info....
