Frozen Path. Sub-Zero Cooling Club. - Page 53

wow this thread is sweet!

I have really always wanted to try sub-ambient myself. I am just am going to need to get a pot. and a CPU for that matter....

Also, last weekend I threw an old celeron D 352 I had under my water setup, but had a hard time breaking 5Ghz with it. I used Easy tune 6 to up from the 4.7Ghz that I booted from and got it to 5015mhz with 1.696v. Although it was to no avail as everytime I hit print screen, I got a BSOD.....
BTW idle was probably above 60C, but i couldnt tell the temp as I could not find a program that would detect the CPU...

and my final question is: If i put this CPU under Ln2, how fast could I get it going on a Gigabyte EP35C-DS3R mobo?

The phantom is a fun looking pot. Pretty cool design. They just make me worry about cold bugging. Can't take a torch to the acrylic versions......
