Got my replacement 980x in today after a shipping flub by UPS!

This is a mean one!

5062.87 MHz on air with 1.5v. I was even using 10gb's of ram. Going to prep the second e762 when it gets here. Just waiting on my pot from Aaron still.

That is a very nice chip Spec.

I don't think my retail is quite as nice. I'm gun shy and playing it safe on the voltages, especially VTT - keeping that in the 1.4v range for a while. These things are way too expensive to kill two.

It's tough to get a handle on this CPU because I get random BSOD's at erratic times - even with meager overclocks. I've switched out RAM a lot and am wondering if my PSU is involved. This HX1000 is still less than 2 years old, but it has been beat on a lot.

CBB at -90 to -100. I don't think it has a cold bug since I spent about 5 minutes at -169 (that's as low as this crappy probe will report). Hard to nail down CB with the random BSOD's all the time.

On another note - Pizza's helping me try to map out and find a vcore mod for this 5870 Lightning. It needs moar volts. Completes 3d06 at 1350 core with only 1.35v and -140 C.
