It's your choice of motherboard that's the issue, ddr3 boards lacking a lucid chip can't push the htt clocks.

Go for a ddr2 board such as.. biostar TA785ge 128m. DFI 790fx m2rsh. Giga 790x ud3p.
One gear, GO!

Yeah that would work, what are your idea's for the pot?

maybe 2.5 kg 4" in diameter round bar copper...machine it to a cup like but cone shape...the bottom will be 1 1/2" in diameter the one that connects the CPU..
Its hard to describe....
but the inside part will have lots of drill for surface contact like a honey comb design....
Im just gona have the base of the pot done as Im tight on the budget...can only spend 100$ the rest from the old school (hardware shop)

Assuming you insulate fine nothing will die. You have to take into account that 5kg of DICE yields a pretty long session, whereas you'd need about 20L of LN2 for the same amount of time.

I'd start with DICE, learn the insulation and then LN2.
