Bypassing Login screen

Thread Starter
Hey everyone,

I am wondering if there is some way to bypass the Windows XP login screen that says the person's account and then you type in their password. I was pretty sure there was a button you could hold down on startup and it would bypass the password part. My brother locked me out of my own computer

This would work but I can't get past the login screen to do that, I was pretty sure there was a key you could hold down while booting up, anyone know what i mean?

you could try booting into safe mode and logging in under the admin account assuming there is no password, then go to start run type "control userpasswords2" and there ya go.

Before XP loads press F8, log in as admin, goto control panel, select user accounts, select yours, and click remove password. That is assuming there is no admin password. If there is, you're screwed.
