Formatting Computer

i know how to formatt my computer ive done it loads of times but i jsut went to do it now and when i put the xp cd in my dvd drive it didnt boot up on start up and i tried it in my cd drive didn't boot up. Should i change some bios settings?

Yes, change it so that your CD-Drive in the bios is the first to boot up (there should be three in the order) just have it boot before the HD does which has windows loaded on it.

ok thanks so just put ur cd 1st then HD and everything else as it is.

havent had much experience in my bios.
