Maybe your Memory is slowing you down, at least mine is. It's slower then my mobo and Processor thats why I can't get a higher FSB then 259

@STE won't it be slower then?
yap, almost the same. how many benchmarks do you get from 3DMArk2001? i manage to achive 13170.

i bought new ram today! kingmax, and latency is 2-2-2-5 im pretty happy whit this all...
mine wont go over 242 n bios, but in clockgen, no problem, HTT 289.23.

before with my old ram i got 245 Htt at the most...

well, mine ram goes @ 400 mhz too, but i put it on 200 so i can raise HTT.

did you try to put more power in ram and cpu? i keep ram on 2.8v and cpu 1.7

after 3DMark2001 temperature is on 46....stock cooler....

Is latency 2-2-2-5 the best? mine is at 2-2-3-11 becouse the guide said that most NFORCE 2 mobo's work better with 11 (and i Have Nforce 3 so i figured its even better )

Yes my ram 2.8v and CPU 1.625v Don't know why yours wont go over 245 did you follow the Ultimate Clocking guide?

Loosen those timings upto 3-4-4-10 for now. They might be too tight which is stopping you booting. You can tighten them up later if you boot okay.

well, every ram has its own default latency, for ect. mine default is 2-2-2-5 @ 133 mhz, but sill my run @ 144 mhz (PC2600), as i push HTT to 290.

on 400 mhz it is 2.5-3-3-7 (pc3200).

anyway, in bios, i would do overclock like this:

lower memclock to 333, leave the latency for later
put your Comand Rate (CT) to 1T
HTT ratio decrease to 3
voltage as you did, and go lifting HTT 3 step at the time, up 3 step and reboot, and so on...when it blackout, you reduce clockmem to 266...and continue to lift HTT....dont know how low you want your ram frequency to be...

and when you`re done with the freq and HTT, then you deal with the latency...and find the right one...optimized...
aaand at the end run the Memtest, if it find any error, decrease the HTT...

thats my way....!

hope it helps....!

My mem is now 3.0-2-2-5 at 333 mhz. Mem bandwith 2500

Isn't it the higher the ramfreq the better?

i put htt ratio to 3 and still can`t...

anyone can help me...?
What does it do? My board hits 300 FSB fine, but it locks out there. And is it actually stable at 2.6 ghz?..

And higher the RAM frequency the better, but if you can get any more clock speed out of your CPU by running a divider do so.

And dont put it on 1T, keep it at "Auto" (2T).

Edit: Try updating the BIOS to 1009 if you havent already.

yes yes, coz your HTT is not too high, so you can have 333, how high is it anyway...?

my memband is about 2300....until i find the reason why it can`t go over 2600....

you can put that first latency (3.0) to 2.0 if you didn`t try, it should work...

did you done memtest? to be sure at least keep it work for about 1000%, the loger the better...

I updated with the flash utility that comes with the motherboard CD.

O yeah I bench about 3300 .

Thx, so if I can get higher clockspeed with 8.5 multiplayer then I should?
