No his ram is running at 290mhz, the 200mhz you see is the ratings that it can run at those timings, not what it is actually doing.

And it pretty funny when my $200 opteron chip does a whole 1 second faster in a super pi test then his $1000 FX57

*EDIT* Oh wait, thats a stock FX57...hehe...my mistake

Yeah, I wish I could do 290 MHz 2-2-2-6 without having to go to extreme measures to cool it and have it die after one run .

zerohour is right, the RAM is running at 290 MHz. The 200 MHz you see is the rating.
