Is ATITool 0.25 Beta working if (in the task bar area) shows a 0?

Is ATITool 0.25 Beta working if (in the task bar area) shows a 0? When I highlight over it it says:
ATITool 0.25 Beta 10
Core: 275.00 Mhz
Mem: 180.00 Mhz

I think I put it from 249 to 275 and from 150 to 180. How do I know if it will stay like this? What is the 0? And when does the Artifact Scan/Find Max Mem/Find Max Core end?

The temperature is the "0." Since your card doesn't have a temperature sensor it just shows a 0. You can disable the taskbar icon if you want through atitool settings.

To keep the settings like that every boot you have to save a seperate settings other than default. Then in Startup, in settings, you have to make sute that setting is loaded on Windows Startup via a method of choice.

When you exit ATI Tool, does it apply the settings?

Yes if you pushed "Set Clock" before exiting. You can verify that it's overclocked after you exit by downloading Everest (http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html), this program is very useful because you can view temp sensors, overclock on CPU and video card, Ram timings, and many more.

Thanks for you know what .

In everest home edition what should change when I change the clock Core to: 275 and Mem to :180 (In ATI Tool) and does ATI Tool have to remain in the task bar? Or can it be exited?

This is what Everest says: It doesn't look like ATI Tool is working.

GPU Clock 253 MHz

Real Clock 310 MHz
Effective Clock 310 MHz

Those are your frequencies after exiting ATiTool right?

To keep settings make sure to save a new setting under the clocks you want to save.

Then in startup, click settings, and the top drop down box click Startup.
Click the first box and select the profile that you saved before.
Click the second box and put anyone of the methods.
Click the third box, IF, you want AtiTool to exit after loading the saved clocks , even after exiting the saved clocks should not change.

Verify with Everest.

Everest should read your new overclocked speeds when you have saved a profile with ATI tool.

You need to save your overclocked settings in a profile, Click the ''new'' button at the top of the window under profiles > Save > load your profile and you can either exit or leave ATI tool running in the background. Re-check everest and it should report your new overclocked speeds.

It's your drivers. Update your drivers to at least 77.77, and that should fix your problem. I had the same problem, untill I updated my drivers.
