Zalman Fatal1ty Copper on 7800GT..

Thread Starter
I have a eVGA 7800GT with the Zalman Fatal1ty Copper heatsink/led fan.. and i cant overclock the least bit. When i press auto detect on cool bits.. it says 480/1180 or something. Stock o nthis card is 445/1070. I tried going 450/1100, but no sir, it freezes on any game.. and i have to restart. I think it still freezes if i overclock the core by 5 mhz.

Could someone help me with this? I know this card can go higher.. especially after i upgraded the heatsink/fan from stock!

Well it may not be heat that is limiting your card, I would guess that you got unlucky and got a bad core. have you looked at all into voltmodding it?

im guessing voltmodding would void the warranty.

Yup volt modding voids the warranty.
Its not Overly difficult but can fry your card from any mistake.
And from what I hear the GT's just dont OC well.
