28s superpi @ 3GHz

Thread Starter
After playing with my opty for an hour last night, I set a new record for myself. I had one of those moments and I realized I was using way too much voltage and started backing down. It stayed stable for wuite a while and I realized that was prolly what was holding me back. I had been at 2.64 for a while because things got really hot due to the voltage so I got going again.

Now I'm at 3.025 with a 28.4s 1m superpi. I think I can go higher, but this is it for a little while.

Thanks man. My ram has been kinda touchy lately. I'll see what I can do when I'm done clocking.

Excelent... so your another who found better performance with a lower vcore.
It seems each has a sweet spot for the voltage.
What are you running now and what is the full load temps?

Same settings, since I can't go higher easily right now.

Its gonna get tougher to break that best..Either put phase on the cpu and go over 3.0...or try to tighten up the ram a bit...

I can do 3.0 easy but have to use a divider and my ram ends up being at like 210 . so crappy ram
