Intel Cooling & Case

Thread Starter
Im looking into a better heatsink & fan for my LGA775 P4 3.2 GHZ CPU.

I'm really not sure what heatsink and fan to look for, if anyone could help me out with some names, or at best a link from www.bigfootcomputers.com to it.

I also have another question. I have a Sunbeam Samurai, mid-sized case, and I need two good fans, one 80 mm and one 120 mm. I really don't mind about noise, for both the heatsink & all my fans. I'm just looking for the best cooling in a fan that I can get.

Thanks, NiK

Thanks alot, I will probably go with the XP-90 as I have gotten another recommendation for that one. I see this one doesn't come with a fan, but I don't see what size fan that could mount on it.

Does anyone know what size fan can be mounted on the XP-90?

Thanks.

hey,
most people hook it up with a 90 or 92mm fan. Just search "XP-90" on this forum and you can see exactly what fans they use, LIke panaflo, vantec, etc...

The Big Typhoon is the best HSF you can get for the money, is quiet, and almost as good as low end water cooling.

The arctic cooling freezer 7 is technically the best for the money, its not quite as good as the big typhoon, but for half the price, you cant beat it.
