If you were forced to choose between these cards which would you get?

I assume the x1300 is the best. It's the newest, and has GDDR2 rather than DDR.

I would say it is a tossup between the 6600 nilla and the x1300...
Personally i would take the newer tech and get the x1300, but you might beable to find a 6600GT for around 120 which would cream both of those cards.

I would choose the x1300 as it supports newer technologies.

I agree with you not2bad, but I'm looking at cards that are just under the $100 area (I'm not nessisarelly(sp?) going to buy one of these, I just am kind of curious for a future purchase.)

Now... What if I threw this one in:

The X700 is a little faster than the X1300 but it doesnt have SM3.0. Plus the X1300 is one of the best for price/performance.
Very nice!

What do you guys mean newer tech? The X1300 doesn't do anything the 6600 can't... And I would go for the 6600 just because it's a proven performer whereas I haven't heard squat about the X1300, but if it's anything like the X300, I don't have high hopes...

It beats the 6600 but not the 6600GT.
