its a sick game, but my video card has to play on medium with all shadows turned off and lighting, and DX8 shaders on, the game looks alright, but i have seen my video card process better graphics.

oh well.

Good storyline draws the players into the game
and a good multiplayer cant hurt

The game is pretty awsome , and very scary when alone at 1 a.m. with the volume all the way up

I'm fairly confident all of us here have heard of FEAR. And yes it is an awesome game. I didn't get the storyline too well (maybe because half the time I was scared $hitless and all I cared about was to notice the girl and shooting bad guys). How's playing FEAR on your Radeon 9250? I managed to beat it on my old Nvidia 5700le with the lowest settings at 25 fps average.

It's an amazing game. I run it at medium/high settings with an avg. of 39 FPS on the performance test and 0% under 25fps. Everyone said it's super demanding and hard to run, but I run it just fine on my old fosil 9800pro.
I can even turn soft shadows on and still get 30 fps. The story line was kinda predictable in my opinion. reminded me of Final Fantasy 7.
