LOL You played FEAR with Integrated Graphics?? Is it Intel? Ati? Nvidia?
Yep I couldn't beleive that my 4 pipe integrated graphics could do it but it did it.Although the game looked like a crossbreed between a Sega genesis and a Nintendo 64.LMAO!!!!!!!!!

Let me just say this, this is the first game in over 2 years that had a story so compelling and deep that it made me sit and play for 3 days relatively straight (homework and school permitting) to play it through! I absolutely loved this game! I could run it at max settings at about 20FPS but I ran it on medium just so I could get 70+FPS so the jumpy parts were oh so scary to their full effect I think this is the only game I played in 2005 that I could call a masterpiece. One more thing I liked is that from the beginning intro until the ending it felt like some really well done movie, which was really neat. And much like HL2 you never left the body of your player (all First Person, even the cutscenes) so it felt like YOU were the person in this story.

You guys want an amazing story then I suggest investing into Indigo Prophecy, also known as Fahrenheit in some countries. That it the single best adventure/action game ever!
Oh yea I heard about that Indigo Prophecy game. Isn't Fahrenheit the uncut version or something?

EDIT: Sorry for taking post off topic :[

FEAR to me is not scary. Just think of the movie THE RING who that little girl is. That is what it feels like, of couse not scary. I for sure say the SH series is more horrid.

I just got through the FEAR demo, and I left with mixed feelings. Let me start off with the bad:
- Graphics. Horrible. HL2 is freakin beautiful compared to FEAR. 1280x960 high w/4AA8AF is a LOT better than 1280x960 medium/low noAAnoAF...I just can't get FEAR to look anything near what HL2 did. Sad. I shouldn't have to upgrade to play a (good) game that has a poorly designed engine.
The good:
- Requires concentration & skill like I have *never* seen before. I can get owned time after time again in robot mode, but if I just think about it and concentrate it's really easy! Slow-motion makes it all work! Enemies & damage are like perfect, and I sort of like the medikit system. The guns are tight - if anything brought me back to FEAR it's the guns, definitely.
Anyhow, I'll go about acquiring it and see if I like the rest. Same with farcry, never got past the demo (liked the demo).
