My First Watercooling Setup - Page 4

Acouple questions, first is maze4 the "best" just as the storm was for the cpu? What seperates it from this http://www.dangerdenstore.com/produc...&cat=48&page=1

Secondly, I just had a thought, how do I connect all the tubes if when I buy it they charge per foot? Does it all come as 1 big strand and I cut it myself, or does it come in 1' peices.

I have alot of space in my rig, do you think it would be alright to put my rad in my rig instead of outside?

Also last question, if I still have fans and such are they of any use to keep the tubes cool or whatnot, or are they garbage now? (assuming that the rad comes with the fans needed.)

It all comes in one big loop, typically.

You wont need to cool the tubes, just put fans on your radiator and have an intake to your box. Remember, though your CPU and GPU are cooled, stuff like ram and your NB need air too. Too many people just cool the radiator and run into problems when other components (that were usually cooled adequately when an AIR system was installed) start to overheat.

I went with a thermochill pa-160 radiator - it holds 1 120 mm fan .. heres my setup..

http://www.ghostsquad.us/Sitefiles/C...ledmordor.html (webpage of my system)

dd5 pump
storm cpu block
maze4gpu block
thermochill pa-160 (one 120 mm delta fan)
DD fillport (not a fan of radiators...t-lines rule)
thermaltake hardcano 13 (fan controller with 4 temp sensors - cool to read ram and NB heat, i have one on my GPU, one on my CPU, one on RAM, and one on NB)

as you can see - thats 1 x120mm radiator - the front of my case holds 10 5.25 drive bays... i cut off 5 to fit that in.... a triple would probably be larger than my case is tall lol (its a thermaltake armour btw)

Chopes, if you have the money, get the NV-78. It's the best 7800 series block out now.
