Is the cooler on this 5770 the same thing as the L2?

Not quite by the looks of it, although it's the same concept, it looks much lower profile than the L2.

I've just skimmed through this thread, I'm maxing out atm at 68c, is this okay or should I get a cooler too?

Did we find a cooler to go with btw?

My card's temps are the same, that is fine. I have a V1 cooler and have not overclocked it, you dont say what version yours is. If you are not overclocking the temps are ok.

Are there any reviews of the EK full cover water block for the 5770? Or is anyone here using one? Have been looking and unable to find anything about performance of this block.

Probably your best bet

Note that it is the HR-03 (rev. A) model. Not the GTX. (for the OP and other interested)

The HR-03 (rev. A) work great but they are a little big. The TR V2 is solid copper and much smaller. V2 may be a better choice for tight crossfire set ups or in HTC machines.

I read a review of gpu coolers somewhere i might try and find the link, but apparently the v2 doesn't preform very well as a passive cooler. So you'd have to add a fan and i donut know how much space that would take up.

I'll probably go for the HR-03 cooler for my forthcoming crossfire setup

P.S. Cool forum
