Woohoo!
Bumped voltages and got my XFX BE 5970 running at 850/1200 no problems.
Only issue is having to load XFX volt thingy on start up to change the memory voltage all the time... is there any way to permanently set this to 1.15 (or whatever it is)?

I think some people have done it with a Bios flash of the card. You'd have to look up how it was done though.

Nice!
How are your VRM temps? I had a accelero twin turbo pro on my HD 4870 and it kept the gpu really cool (below 50 on furmark, around 40 in BC2), but my VRMs weren't cooled enough with it. They were hitting 120*C on furmark and 80-100 on BC2.

Was thinking of buying that cooler for the HD 5970 but first I wanna be sure they keep the VRMs cool.

EDIT:
Should've read a few pages back first I see they topped at 54 which is amazing
Might buy the cooler
Only con is that the warm air isn't blown out the case

EDIT2:
You still know what the VRM temps were with the original Accelero fans on?

A) If you keep your case at positive pressure, the warm air will be forced out of the case. Delta fans are particularity good at doing this
My CPU and chip set temps are unchanged since the install of the Accelero.

B) I used to have a gtx280 with the Accelero and I remember how pitifully weak the the stock fans are. When I first put in the card with stock fans I was really disappointed at the performance so I switched it out after only two stress tests. During these two tests, I neglected to observe the VRM temps. I think my problem was that I have a 102cfm Delta fan (in the pic below, on the right) supplying the air to the card. This could have lead to the air being pushed right past the stock fans, they being too weak to pull air up.
