Still have mine here smile.gif Falling in love with this card all over again now that I'm really starting to overclock it. I'm surprised how well it's held up over the past 2 years.

Okay so I have two watercooled 5970's with my eyefinity setup. Will this be sufficient for playing BF3 in eyefinity? I can only get really good framerates at the medium setting for BFBC2. I know i can max out one screen for quality, but what is the consensus for the Frostbit 2 engine with eyefinity?

I'm trying to get my hands on a second 5970 for Quadfire. Any advice on setting up 2 of these and also what Wattage PSU should I use? I used the Outervision PSU Cal and it recommended a 740W. Would this be suffiecient? Here's a PSU that I've wanted for awhile and if 750W is enough than it should be perfect. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341041

A single 5970 on stock clocks and voltage will draw approx 375w. So two of them 750w at stock. A minimum 1000w PSU is recommended.

First post, hello guys! =)

Still got my 5970. It's still a beast and plays any game at smooth framerates. But I also know why that is... it's because of consoles are holding game developers back with their crap hardware. I hate consoles with every bone in my body.

But there's one positive thing about it - I don't have to upgrade my GPU every year which I "had" to before xbox/ps started kicking in. So far I've only had to upgrade my GPU every 3 years (because I'm buying the most expensive ones I can find -- hence 5970).

I'm guessing mid-2012 will be a good time to change GPU, but before that I'd love to put a new fan/cooler on my 5970. This one...

Sadly it is no longer available. So I'm hoping one of you guys might know something?
