i just upped the voltage as far as i can take it (1.162v / 1.15v) & then went straight for (1000/1300), it wont allow me to hit 1000mhz though, it defaults to 999mhz when i try.

if i could get 1.2v i'd be able to run those clocks 24/7 if need be..

excellent cards...
Very sweet!!

So if i take a chance and buy one of these huge cards(If i can find any),Do i have to worry about VRM Temps overheating running at stock speeds?? or do the temps on the vrm gets "hot"mainly due to overclocking? I have read the link and sadly it goes over my head and i do not fully understand all of the information on that page.

The most intense games such as Crysis won't make the card's VRM's overheat at stock clocks and even overclocked in most cases.

The VRM's usually overheat when the core is overclocked/overvolted quite a bit, but will throttle down as a fail-safe precaution.

I personally run my card at 900 MHz core with 1.174v and only have it throttle down on GPGPU applications and programs such as Furmark.
