Hey guys, so my task manager wasn't working and I had alot of spyware so I just reformatted yesterday and evrything was back to normal, but now task manger and command prompt aren't working, I tried the ctrl+alt+delete and all those commands but it didn't work and yes I already clicked on the toolbar and clicked on task manager. When I open command prompt a window pops open and says a large message saying the NTVDM CPU HAS ENCOUNTERED AN ILLEGAL INSTRUCTION CS:0547 IP:ffe2 OP:fe ff 1d 09 72 then It just stays there with the pop-up window, and the weird thing is on the black space where you write the stuff in the command prompt it has a lot of WEIRD writing with some little smilies in between them....I think it's a virus, I'm not sure tho...I sure would appreciate all the help .....

With XP ...
Disable Auto Recovery, reboot into Safe Mode and scan for Virus/Trojans/worms/etc..
If you get any, delete your Restore Point files and rescan.

Go to My Computer, right click and left click on Properties. Click on "System Restore" tab and uncheck it.
