pcchips m810lr bios flash

Since I cant find a comparitive replacement for my epox 8rda3i pro I am forced to run and operate the named board in my title. I had to result back to my athlonxp 2200+ thouroughbread at 1800, since this board does not allow overclocking. Well I have tried to run my powercolor 9800se on this board and it wont have it, instead had to resort to my diamond radeon 9550, and this board is running at agp 2x. This board is supposed to support 4x, but am still waiting to witness this. I have been in touch with pcchips several times and they wont help me out, not even with a bios flash. Can anyone locate a updated flash for this board, possibly one that states it resolves agp issues. Please help, wolowing in self pitty here, (not really, lol) but would like to be able to play a game and not have the system freeze on me. p.s. please try and help me not to go and have and buy a pci graphics gard

  • What did you put on the disk/Which BIOS file?
  • Did you make it a DOS bootable floppy with the flashing utility and BIOS on?
  • What command line did you use?

Use this command line: ''amiflash.exe 030103s.bin'' (030103s being the BIOS file on the bootable floppy disk)

tried but no success, said bad command or file name, said same for everytime I tried to input amiflash, the name of the flash utility is aminf342, and have tried earlier versions but still didnt work. Even tried to type aminf342 030103s.bin and no success, it appears to be a problem with the flash utility. As i said tried using previous versions ie aminf339 and aminf338 etc, but still no success. Any ideas? or a tech support phone number for pcchips? as there online support does no good as they dont give a response as to the question u ask. HELP this whole situation sucks as i have a 2600m and ddr333 ram sitting in a burnt out epox mobo, and cant use none of it, I am stuck with pc133 ram and cant even use a least better gpu on this board, alls i want is to play doom

I just checked the BIOS file which you are using to update the BIOS and its a .rom not .bin
  • Did you unzip the file which you downloaded containing the BIOS, before putting it on to floppy?

    Try command line: ''aminf342 030103s.rom''
