the Pyzano's Pizzeria (number 1) down here cost a lot of money. If you compared that, it would be like two large Pyzano pizzas for the 4gb Dominators. -LAWL!

N0M N0M N0M!

If you compared now then yea its a steal. At the time, I think it was pretty affordable. But I never expected the price to rise up like oil.
Regular plain Vesuvio pizza.

They are overpriced, but those G.Skill timings are not as good. I presume the Dominator GTs are only dual channel as well? I'd like to see a set that can run triple channel at these speeds and timings.

So what frequency does it take to saturate the memory bandwidth (stock)? It'd be nice to see some calcs.

They can; they just enjoy a good tape worm topping.

To bad that no motherboard can safely run anything over 1600 without overvolting and reducing lifetimes of both the motherboard AND CPU dramatically. They fail to tell people this when they buy their RAM, I found out the hard way and had to just lower my ram and tighten the timings.

I need 1.62v on the QPI/DRAM for 2000 on my mobo, and it's one of the better ones out there. You are not suppose to go above 1.35 on the i7.

I need 1.55v on the QPI/DRAM for 2000 on my mobo, and it's one of the better ones out there. Your not suppose to go above 1.35 on the i7.
Just to clarify, you are referring to the QPI voltage only. I just thought it may be confusing including "DRAM" in the label.

Well I do know that 1.62v isn't safe. I'd run 1.45v or so if it was stable with those speeds, but 1.62 is asking for trouble.

You edited.

Thats exactly how the Rampage II Extreme labels it. "QPI/DRAM Voltage"
