Some of the power supply snobs out there will tell you it's going to blowup and nuke your neighborhood because it isn't a corsair/Antec, but as long as it's not giving you problems, I wouldn't worry about. Upgrade that processor.
Great advice. I haven't had a problem at all lately ever since.

So you'd rather have a crappy PSU with UV reactive sleeving than a good PSU that had normal black (clean looking!!) sleeving? lol

I guess I'll just leave this thread because obviously there's nothing wrong with Apevia PSUs and I'm just wasting my money by purchasing a Corsair PSU.

People don't realise just how important a PSU is in their rig until it kills something. I know I didn't until it slowly killed my X2 5200, a 2GB stick of DDR2 RAM and partially my 7950GT. I also know that if I didn't care/know about how important PSUs are, I wouldn't be happy about spending my Christmas money on some boring metal box that does nothing.

Well I guess then he'll have to learn the hard way, and spend more money later when it kills something.

Also, $400 is quite a bit of money, and if you spend wisely you can kill a lot of birds with that one stone. Processor, GPU and PSU can be done with that money.

$406.89 is an odd amount of money to receive, unless its a paycheck.

Yea i know.
That's why i posted this thread and asked for advice and 2nd opinons. I'm considering a Q
9400 processor since i know it's on sale for cheap and it can be overclocked well. As for GPU i could always get another GTS 250 and go SLi but some say you can always get a better video card instead of running 2 i guess.
Power supply is gonna cost me a little more because i'd have to get it custom sleeved. I can do it myself but i'm probably gonna consider a company do it since they are a HUGE pain in the ass but then again i can do it myself and i'm just worried i'm gonna break something. The ATX connector is A HUGE pain in the ass to sleeve.
I'm just trying to get the best hardware and more bang for my buck so i can spend wisely. I'm not rich and i have to pay child support and this is why my budget is short and that's why i posted this thread because i wanna treat myself with something that'll make me happy.
