Oh yeah I wouldn't ask that thing to do 700w either lol, but it'll get the job done on a lesser rig.

Speaking of generics...i was just reading about what they do on JonnyGuru. Fun stuff for sure. Can't believe I never found those generic reviews before.

you want a new cpu cooler!

watercooling can lead to a lot of headaches! the price of blu-ray drives is gonna keep on diving, and frozencpu is generally more expensive than everyone else!

Some are crap, some aren't. This one isn't too bad, I'm going of JonnyGuru's review that was posted earlier. The review is from 2006, though it can still through up decent numbers today. However for just a 5770 there is probably a better option.

#17 for sure.

I'd get a new CPU/motherboard if everything else in your system is ok.

Everything is ok and great. I would LOVE to have a new motherboard,I'm looking at http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...&Sku=E145-0005 and i'm still unsure. It's just because it has 1200mhz ram and i have a ddr 2 ram, unless i wanna go for http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...315&CatId=2050 also since it costs more.. i dunno what's the difference but i know this one is a 790i. As for a new cpu i have considered it first choice so far i still haven't shopped anything yet. A new case is very tempting for me but i know the only biggest upgrade i really would need to improve my performance is getting a new processor cuz i do know my cpu cannot handle 2 video cards. It's a friggin E2180! So old! A year old so far. But still a very old cpu!

Anyone think Antec 1200 has better airflow than 902 cuz i read reviews somewhere on u tube claiming that mid towers cool much more better than full towers? Is this true?

I don't see how that's possible since the 1200 has more fans, which means more airflow, which generally means lower temps.

true.. i thought the same. Just that it's a full tower and more space likely have too much air flowing and doesn't always lower temps and lots of ppl say mid towers have better air tight flow but then again the 1200 does have more fans. I guess it varies. I would love to see a airflow benchmark between the 902 vs 1200. I wonder if there is such a thing on google. I'll have to look around and see what i pull up.

You will be using your computer a lot. That is a good reason to see if perpetuals are a worthwhile upgrade. A mechanical keyboard is a good investment, because they never break and you will have it for a long time.

I'm also using the G5, my friend has a G500 and I'm planning on getting one as well (the texture feels much better, more buttons, etc). If you are thinking about buying a new monitor, go for one with 1080p. Set up dual monitors and you will not regret it. Speakers are only worth upgrading if you have a decent sound card.

Your processor is another thing I would upgrade. If you plan on getting another video card you will have to upgrade your power supply as well. Good luck.
