Thanks yea. I'm not in a rush, i might consider asking my aunt getting me a processor but probably a full tower cuz i'd feel bad to ask her to get me a new processor and they are too expensive. As for the monitor. It's still brand new so why waste money lol. I don't have a sound card and plus i don't have any slots for it because i'm using all the pci fan slots lol unless i get a 902 it has 8 expansion slots but the 1200 is bigger dunno yet lol. Yea a processor seems the way if i need 2 video cards. I'm still unsure what's the point of having a great SLi if you can just 1 good video card that can equal 2 video cards if it's more powerful?..Speakers are a good thing, I hate my headphones they die from time to time and it's friggin from radio shack.. I'm still trying to decide.

Oh okay. I am not used to using one monitor anymore. If you find a good deal on another one I would suggest using both at the same time. Thats just my preference though, your wants are probably different than mines. You can decide on if a fan or a sound card is worth more, but you may have a heat problem which would be suffer from poor circulation, which may be a good reason to get a new case.

If a headphone dies from time to time, then its time to replace it. Depending on your budget, and your preferences you would get a new one. Open aire ones allow you to hear your background and are cleaner. Closed ones seal the sound in and stops the outside interference. I'm using HD280s at the moment, they are nice, but open air ones are more comfortable, I really like the 555s. If you tend to break your headphones a lot, PortaPros sound nice and cost around 35$, with a lifetime warranty and I think five bucks. Good luck!

This is not an advertising board and watercooling kits < high quality air < custom watercooling. jab-tech.com has really good prices and petrastech.com has good prices.

And to the OP, has it ever occurred to you that you get better temps on air because your processor is pumping out maybe a 1/5th of what an overclocked i7 is? And do you even know how to get full load temperatures? And watercooling is much better than any air cooling if you do it right. And leaks are not a problem if you do it right either.

As for the upgrade, save a bit and build and i5 system then get a 5770 and work from there. Don't go with any LGA775 processor, they are on sell because they are old and becoming deprecated.

If you want cheap, go with an AMD system. Look around in the AMD forums to get an idea of what to get. Go with AM3 and DD3 memory. You will not regret it later. And of course ATI cards give the best price/performance ratio around.

Also, this should not be in Cooling Experiments because it has absolutely nothing to do with any cooling project. This may seem a bit like a flame but I would consider this thread is really out of place on the forum and has went way off topic and has many, many ignorant posts in it.

EDIT:
Also, don't believe anything you hear on "u tube". A full tower case has more air volume and thus more convection and with fans creating a proper, directional, airflow it will cool better than a mid-tower. Also, you say you don't have a PCI fan-slot open? You don know that PCI slots have nothing to do with fans, right? And 90% of the blowers on the market are of poor design and 1 will suffice. Remove a blower and use the slot for that which it was made.

Dude get a new CPU/mobo/ram combo... your monitor is fine (22" is plenty). And later down the road after you get the new cpu/mobo/ram get a 4890.

LOl i know.. live webcam porn is a failure LOL. The reason why i wanted a new case is i'm tired of my 900 and i want a go big. Water cooling has came across my mind and i have been told there are risks and headaches and it's easier to have air cooling. I have no plans to going i7's or i5's cuz they are simply too expensive and would need water cooling to cool it. Those suckers do get hot! I just want a quad processor and it's not a big deal so i can upgrade and get another GTS 250 and go SLi since i know it pairs more than a single 260. I have thought of a new LGA 775 motherboard but i can't seem to get a fix which i should get and i never have problems with mine but i know mine is not that 100% powerful like the rest of yours. Ati cards are not my thing no offense. IF i were to get water cooling, i would buy a swiftech kit that runs about 249 bucks at NewEgg or Frozen Cpu and i'm just nervous i'm gonna screw up because i have very little experience in water cooling and i know you're suppose to test it for leaks for 24 hours and then put it back in the case. How the heck do you drain these and refill them? Won't the water leak down on your hardware to disconnect those or do we have a pressure value to shut it off and drain it? O.o Just curious. A processor is the biggest upgrade i need for sure. But as for SLi i may need something better than what psu i have so far i know of..

You're not really offending anyone by not buying ATI cards, you're just being dumb and depraving yourself of the best bang-for-buck on the market. Keep doing what you're doing.

On the topic of watercooling if you buy a kit you are seriously hurting yourself. Go over to the watercooling forum and talk to some of the people over there. The watercoolers on this forum can make you a custom build that will be way better than any kit on the market, and for around the same price.
