No, CPU temp shouldn't have much to to with GPU temp, other than raising the ambient temp of the case.

GPU's run hot, so those temps are fine.

EDIT: Don't forgett you have to let the AS5 break-in.

Give it some time, it will improve.
Frankly, I don't believe you are out of range ... around 90 according to some and a bit higher according to others
The Gurus will get you the bottom line but you should be fine.

thx for input cause i was thinking about returning the as5.. it dropped by cpu temp alot tho.. when i overclocked it to 400/1100 with stock cooler my my idle cpu temp was about 73.. and max lod like 90.. however with the sielcner and 400/1100 my cpu temps are idled at 55.. and the gpu temp lowered 15ish so i gues its ok thought that gpu's were similar to cpus

EDIT : How long does it take for the as5 to cure.. some people told em to jus tlet the hsf spread it i used a card to spread it is that bad?

Well... GPUs are a bit like CPUs. The GPU is a card spicific processor where the CPU is the Big Daddy
Yes it's ok to spread the AS5... very thin though, to much can have adverse effects.
It takes about 100-120 hours to cure fully. Just be sure no to get it on anything but the CPU or GPU!

Well, my EVGA 6800GT had a thick thermal pad in between the heatsink and the GPU, so there might be some more space in between the GPU and heatsink than there is in between a CPU and heatsink. You have to put a little bit more AS5 on the GPU than you do the CPU, but not too much more.
