Sunbeam Nuuo 550w worth the $15 over the 450w?

Thread Starter
Well im trying to decide what PSU to buy, and I have heard that the sunbeam NUUO is great. Now is the 450w NUUO http://www.xoxide.com/sunbeam-nuuo-450w-psu-silver.html worth $15 more than the 550w http://www.xoxide.com/sunbeam-nuuo-550w-psu-silver.html ? How long would these PSUs last me, like as in if i were to make upgrades, how many generations would could they support.

And is it really worth the money over this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104954 ?

Get the 550W before they go out of stock, once I saw them in stock for a whole 20 minutes. Get the 550W, it will last you a few years if your harsh, more if your not.

well if the difference is only $15 I'd get the 550w one. I mean, that way you know for sure you're covered for a couple upgrades. besides... if you're like me at all and you get the 450w one... in 2 weeks you'll be kicking yourself for not getting the bigger one. when it comes to power... you can never have enough! LOL

All 3 of those are good power supplies, but anything less than the 550W I don't think will follow you into your next machine.

Newegg has one! I have the 450w, and I love it. The cable sleaving is really well done and looks great, the PSU its self looks great, the voltages are rock stable, and being modular makes it all that much better!
