Which fan controller?

Thread Starter
hello,

I have 3 scythe s-flex 1600 rpm, + 3 stock fans of the coolermaster cm-690 in my case (the coolermaster cm-690 obviously). I want to have a fan controller, but i don't now which one. Which one can regulate the stock fans, and the scythe fans, but also if I were to buy more fans be able to regulate more than these 6 fans? can you put 2 fans on one regulator button?

thanks in advance,

Josh

I say the scythe Kaze Master, it's more than able to control those fans if you join some of them into a single channel.
for native 6, look at sunbeam or the zalman fan controllers

Rheobus-Extreme is great imo. you just need 3-pin Y-splitters for controlling more that one a button and the reabus extreme can handle it.

also check out the Lamptron FC-"X" models for even more power. (maybe the FC-2 (6 Ch. 45W), FC-3 (4 Ch. 30W) or the new FC-5 (4 Ch. 30W with lcd). (FC-1 is a little thumb controller & FC-4 "only" has 4 Ch. 20W).

thanks for the help already. the 3 stock fans have 4 pin molex connections, and the s-flex's have 3 pin, with 4 pin adapter. which one of the fan controllers will work with them both? thankyou in advance (again )

I heard Zalman makes pretty solid stuff, as well does Scyte. Make sure it has the proper connectors first (and enough of them)

I go for the Rheobus Extreme and the Lamptron FC-x fan controllers. They're pretty good and can handle that much power from your fans.

JoshTheBoss: you can just buy a 4-pin molex to 3-pin converter and then split that 3-pin connection with a couple of y-splitters and connect. or use multiple 4-pin molex to 3-pin converters not sure if any of this will work. havent tried it myself. another solution-->http://www.silentpcreview.com/article6-page1.html

also you could buy a couple of cheap yate loons that already have 3-pins in them.
