Thought I'd share a little command line fun I figured out this morning. Forwarning, this Will compleatly remove the msconfig>startup program entry from the startup list.

Example: Utorrent

Finding the entry and registry location

Code:
C:\\>wmic startup where caption="utorrent" list full

Caption=uTorrent
Command="C:\\Program Files\\uTorrent\\uTorrent.exe"
Description=uTorrent
Location=HKU\\S-1-5-21-1390067357-261478967-682003330-1003\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Run
SettingID=
User=LAPTOP\\scott
Verifying the registry program and location to to edit..

Code:
C:\\>reg query HKEY_USERS\\S-1-5-21-1390067357-261478967-682003330-1003\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Run\\ /s

! REG.EXE VERSION 3.0

HKEY_USERS\\S-1-5-21-1390067357-261478967-682003330-1003\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Run\\
    ctfmon.exeREG_SZC:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\ctfmon.exe
    uTorrentREG_SZ"C:\\Program Files\\uTorrent\\uTorrent.exe"
Deleting Utorrent from the starting when the OS loads.

Code:
C:\\>reg delete HKEY_USERS\\S-1-5-21-1390067357-261478967-682003330-1003\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Run\\ /v utorrent

Delete the registry value <Y/N>? y

This opperation completed sucessfully
Adding value back into the registry:

This is the command to add the registy entry back into the startup menu. Note: notice the " " quotes in the sting destination. This is required unlike when using regedit.exe.

Code:
C:\\>reg add HKEY_USERS\\S-1-5-21-1390067357-261478967-682003330-1003\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Run /v uTorrent /t REG_SZ /d "C:\\Program Files\\uTorrent\\utorret.exe"
