Don't let others decide how to spend your money. Do the research and select one on your own merit.

My two cents.
Bye Bye 775

You people crack me up, enablers...

Even with the incoming 5970 he's burning what, 650W? Please, save a little of your money and get more what you need, your efficiency goes to crap when you get to large a PSU as well. So you also spend more on your monthly power bill.

LOL @ the 1kw/1.6kw+ for your setup save some money and get an 850w which will be more than enough.

and if your ever going to get another 5970 then maybe look into a 1kw.

Sure, but he insists that he's going to be having this and that and this and he needs to have a 1kw+ PSU. So I figure, hey, if you're so determined to spend a small fortune on your power supply you might as well do it right.
