I'm looking for a new RTS game and I've heard good things about both World in Conflict and Company of Heros. I was just wondering what OCN's take was on this.

I'm looking for an RTS that lets me go online and quickly find a match to play, so a strong online community is important to me (I hate waiting for games like I did in AOE3, just to have them last 15 minutes). I've mostly played Age of Empires 1-3, but I've tried WarCraft 3 once (which I didn't like). I also jumped on my brothers computer a few years ago and played some StarCraft, but I wasn't really hooked. I did however find Command & Conquer Generals to be fun.

So with all being said... I am now looking at World in Conflict and Company of Heroes. Are these games still going strong? Still worth buying? Which one, or do you suggest another?

Company of Heroes is more of a traditional RTS. World in Conflict is very small squads, with automatic respawns at certain points. I enjoyed CoH more, but WiC is an interesting change.

I would say Company of Heroes, its a fun game.

King Tiger FTW!

WIC is good, but its different. The online play is crazy and fun. I love it when you get enough points to nuke someone.

The one thing I don't like about COH is the communication system. there's no internal VOIP versus most RTS and the in game in-typing feels sluggish.

I voted for World in Conflict, but they are both fantastic games. You can't go wrong either way.

WIC has one expansion out so if you buy WIC get it with the expansion so that way you will not have to play the game twice. COH has three expansion packs out and they are really good. COH it seems like you are playing a new game with the expansion but in WIC you play the game over again with just a few new maps. So if your going to get the expansions later on go with COH.
