dfi bios help - overclocking

I don't really know my way around the dfi bios so can someone help me. Where exactly is the vcore adjustment setting and how do i create a ram/fsb divider as i don't think his ram can go up to 260 fsb...

All you overclocking options should be under the gennie (sp?) bios section. Vlotages and such are on the mail page and ram options should be under the first selection. Thats how it is on mine anyway. I'll reset and see if i can gat you more info.

edit: When you load in to the bois look to the top of the colom on the right hand side. This should be called Genie Bios Settings. When you select this the next screen has all you cpu options and such. The First selection sould be DRAM Configuration, that will have all your ram options. Hope this helps ya.

its under voltage setting, cpu vid\\ cpu voltage adjusting, it can be different for different bios versions.

i really wouldnt start goiing after the vcore just yet. let it stay at the rated vcore until you hit the hight of that OC then ad a little bump "depending on the core". if you have oc'd that proc before it may react differantly in the dfi vers. what ever it was in before. no need to burn out a proc if it is a little differant from one rig to the next or board to board.

here is ncsa faq on the dfi sli-dr http://www.overclock.net/faqs/38268-...roduction.html the bios looks pretty much the same just don't use any bios from the old series on your expert

ya but i made the startup cpu thingy 1.45 and when it boots up its still running at 1.35 so whats the problem?

it just starts with that voltage you have to set the cpu vid control and then the cpu vid special control
