Where do the jumpers go?

Thread Starter
Okay, I'm hooking my new computer up (just got the power supply today) and I need to hook up the power switch, HDD activity light, etc. There are 9 pins on the PANEL1 header and I don't know what goes where. I need to hook up:
  • reset switch (2 pins)
  • power switch (2 pins)
  • hard drive activity (2 pins)
  • power led (3 pins)
FYI I have an ECS K8T890-A mobo.

look in your manual, it should tell you where they are

ive never really known where they go, some manuals are incorrect, look on the mobo and it should say on the circuit board, I almost do it by trial and error, if it doesnt work then its not connected properly and the wrong way around, you cant stuff anything up, you are only connecting a few switches and lights.

Thanks, +rep tuchan. The problem is that the manual doesn't tell where it goes!

Ive found that the paper manuel is usually crap and is more advertising if how good the product is than helping. Online manuels from the manufactuors website on the other hand...*hint hint**points to previous post*
