What's this PowerMac G4 worth?

Probably a stab in the dark since I know nothing about this thing or Macs in general. Looks to be in pretty good shape. Untested. Found it at work in a storage unit. Don't know if it works. Assuming it is dead, nonfunctional and is for parts only, is it worth anything?

Try powering it on? Typically the value is higher if it works hehe

That looks to be a ZIF based G4 (which was actually a G3 with a G4 CPU and a grey case), so it's not worth much. The latest OS it can run is 10.4, and it's not capable of much (youtube is a struggle for it, 1/4 at best). I'd say just keep it just for running old OS 9 and 10.0-4 games

Well that's no fun Just donate it to Goodwill or a place like that and use it as a $50 tax write-off

Probably the best choice.

Quite. If you had picked up one of the "Quicksilver" flavors this would have been a bit better, but this probably has a 450 MHz dual core CPU, somewhere under 2GB RAM and possibly an AGP slot.

But as far as price goes...$50 if it works? Or donate?

Hell make it a freebie on here.

I did open it and spotted 3 sticks of PC100. This can't be good.
