It's good for people with HT, dual cores processors only but it still doesn't solve the dx9 optimization problems.

They sure took their sweet time.

This is not the update that will resolve the issues. There will be one after christmas sometime with new maps, pb and optimized properly.

Can't wait for the real patch.

And so is this thing just for intel? I have a dual core, but amd. Gar. I think I'm gonna try it anyway. I'll just have to reinstall CoD2 I guess if it messes up something.

EDIT: SWEEEEET!!!!

I always test a few spots on beltot, a harder gfx map due to smoke and such and the lowest gain I had was 13fps. The highest gain was 37 fps. So I got anywhere from a 13-37 fps increase from this patch. If you have an AMD dual core, do it. It says intel only, but no problems here, woot!
