Need Help with MB, PSU, and Graphics Card

Ok, this is a long story so hunker down....

Alright, I bought a WD Raptor, a Sony DVD-RW, and a additional stick of 1GB DDR2-533 RAM. I knew my PSU was strained (300W), but I thought it could still handle the load. When I installed all of the components and tried to start the system all I got was a slight twitch of the fans. The computer would start if I removed the Video Card, but it would not start in any configuration that included the video card. I decided to go and buy a new PSU (500W Antec). I attached everything and turned on the computer. Everything starts up, but nothing happened on the screen. When I removed the video card I got no beep from the motherboard, so I was able to determine that the BIOS was bad. I attempted to install the recovery BIOS but I get the failed recovery beeps... This stupid little hardware upgrade is being a real pain.

Yes, after a while I took out the new RAM stick (transcent). I got a beep out of it when I started it up, but no progress other than that.

I have checked and double checked and checked all the cables...

I was using a MSI 6800 PCIe, but they want it back... They are going to replace it! The nice thing is, they dont have any 6800 left, so they are going to have to send me a GS!!! FREE UPGRADE!
