Driver cleaner use?

Can anyone tell me how you're supposed to use Driver Cleaner without killing your system?
Like, which options you should select to clean and which you shouldn't touch?

I've already used Driver Cleaner two days ago when I installed 5.13 drivers,
and I chose the options I thought would be safe to clean, but ever since, I've got glitches in my screen (desktop - havent noticed it in games so far)
and other wierd stuff is happening, (keyboard layout changes )

So I want to try it again and hope it fixes it, but I wanna do it right <_<
I don't feel like reinstalling winblows lol

Nevermind.
Delete if possible.
And a good advice; Stay away from driver cleaner!
(you'll learn in the end)

Umm, I would like to know too because I am about to get rid of my catalyist and go for a gaming version so I can get a little more performance out of my x800xl.

Maybe I'm just dumb also but I didn't like that util either.

I found it cumbersome to use and in the end it just deleted my drivers I had extracted out already.

I personally never needed the driver cleaner.

I've been doing the videocard dance since the matrox and voodoo days and never once have I had to use a util like driver cleaner to take care of business.
