like I said in another thread. the problem with most headphone stands is they put too much caliper pressure and wear on the pads and band.




Woo Audio stands are the only ones I can find that do it right. 6lbs of aluminum with minimal contact and the headphones just slide off.

Looks like there is a gap at the top of that stand/phones-pressure in the wrong place.

That is why i built my own.





I did some research and that is why the stand is designed the way it is.
They slide on and off with ease, fully supported with a natural resting position.
I have tried the stand with 5 different headphones and all seem to sit very nicely.

the center of a headband should be able to take it. a wood rod might be another solution.



if you have a better solution don't keep it to yourself tongue.gif some of my headphones probably wouldn't fit on yours.
