Post Your Headphone Stands! - Page 24

www.overclock.net/t/1362206/diy-headphone-stand#post_19323574

Project I started last night. I plan on finishing it today. I eventually want to fasten one of the nova amps on the front and wrap excess cords figure 8 through the supports.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Nice. I want to do something like that with a curved top, but I need to figure out how to sand it that way rather than having the other pieces (want to do it from something like walnut or cedar). Not exactly sure how I'm going to do that with an orbital sander...

You did the curve by hand? From the pics it looked like you took 2 pieces or trim and glued them on to a 1x3 or 1x4...

I've got a local supplier for a bunch of hardwoods, depending on the look I want. Wish they sold dowels as well, but I can't have it all. 90% sure I'm going to use painted pine dowels that I can get from anywhere (maybe, maybe stained oak, depends on the wood I use for the rest).

Oh, yes I did use individual pieces. Haha I meant I sanded it all down to be flush. If you decide to paint, dont use behr paint. All my paint started peeling off today so I have to restart. Im going to rattlecan the white now. You gotta post what you end up making though. Im really interested.

Have you seen the Bravo Audio amps? I plan on putting on of the smaller ones on the front of my stand.

I certainly will post it. Not going to paint anything but the posts between the bottom and top, and only if they're pine. The rest will likely only be sanded and lacquered, or a neutral stain.

I was just thinking there are not enough mini separate racks
