Like, actually popping it into the oven for a little while and reinstalling it into your rig? Or am I missing something?

Yup, that is the general idea, it is basically a last ditch attempt at fixing a defective card, *think* the general idea is to melt the solder points to fix the card

yes but I suggest you read up on it before trying it (that's if you have a dead card.

And seriously for the love of the FSM check to see if your warranty is still good before you do it!

If you have a nonfunctional graphics card that's out of warranty and you've tried everything you can to fix it... Put it on a cookie sheet and put it in the oven. It remelts the solder, and about one time in ten... Hey! Working graphics card. Other nine times? You haven't lost anything, just a broken card.

So how would one go about baking the card? Like, how hot should the oven be, how long should I leave the card in there?
