You might be able to try changing the name of the .exe to some other game that has physx? I know Batman has for sure.

Update

I'm all green atm using my 295 as my main, gts 250 as my ppu.
PhysX will not run on the ppu, still runs on the cpu.

Any ideas?

Another update

PhysX is working with both configurations.
However massive artifacts after a few minutes of play, both configs.
Starting to think I received a bum GTS 250.

BM AA is doing the same thing.
Guess I'll have to unbox my 295 and see how it does as the ppu.
Maybe these new drivers(.62) are to blame, guess I'll try rolling back first.

For me ME is unique in that it runs best with everything on just my 295 alone. When I switch phys-x to my 8800GTS it runs like crap. Like 1/2 the fps. But ME is on my XP install, so it might behave different on se7en, no clue.

I got the runs like crap sorted out, the performance hit is gone with Mirrors Edge.
The problem now is the graphic anomalies when using the 250 as the ppu.

No such anomalies when the 295 was the ppu, ran like crap but no glitches.
I gave up for the night, be back at it again later today.

Batman AA ran great with my 295 as the ppu, not so great with the 250.

And another update

Running smoothly, no glitches, great performance across both games.

So Mirrors Edge physX is kind of, lame.
But I can run it, up yours NV


At least in BM the physX are really noticeable, also really adds to the mood of the game.



Just in case you ATI guys are having the same problem.

What I did:

Newest red and green drivers
Newest physX package
Newest physX hack/mod/patch

Deleted from the Mirrors Edge install the following things:

physxdevice.dll
physxcore.dll
physxlocal folder


And the results, normal performance with no artifacts.
