3200+ (Winny) overclocking newbie help?

Thread Starter
So i've tried overclocking my CPU and i've reached....

Core: 2340MHz
Multi: 9x
HTT: 260MHz
Temp: 36 (Idle) and 48 (Load is the highest i've seen, so far)

Are my temps ok?
And if i were to buy a aftermarket HSF, what is the best?

I'll play with it some more once i get my HSF, but for now i think i'll stick with these settings....

Just went back to defaults... ran a 3dmark05 test, stalled on me and couldn't run back into windows with OC settings....

I'll try again tomorrow as i am tired.

I would say that it could be your memory that is failing. Are you running a dividor or are you at 1:1 ratio. Unless your ram is good i dont think you should be running at 1:1. Let us know what it is, it will be more helpful.

Ya, was the ram running at 1:1.... guess i need a ram upgrade in the future

But for now, things are pretty stable

2375MHz
9.5x
250 HTT
Ram clocked at 197MHz (5:3)

haven't crashed yet, i'll try moving the cpu multi up to 10x and see what happens
