Hi all, im a water cooling noob here, and need help makign a cheap custom wc setup. I ordered a GeForce 6200 that came with an Asetek vga block and it got me thinking about putting together a custom wc setup. So i have the gpu block alearady now i need pump/s478cpublock/rad+fans/tubing/resevoir if i missed anything feel fre to correct my list. I have come across this pump here http://www.aquastealth.com/index.asp...PROD&ProdID=30 and im wondering if its any good? i was readin that you want a pump capable of a minimum of 300gph, and this one does 370. Also i live beside a petshop and can get aquarium pumps if those are better. As far as CPU block i can get Swiftech MCW6002, or a Danger Den TDX Intel 478, which is better?

you should only get the via aqua if your on a really tighy budget
its not really good but its not bad.
it might have a few leaking problems but those can easily fixed with glue
as for the waterblock, try a swiftech apogee or swiftech storm

The Asetek block is 1/4" fittings if I'm not mistaken, which does not play happy with the other blocks and fittings in your potential system. I suggest getting the MAZE4 GPU for your block, here is the cheapest place to get it.

As to blocks, try to find the STORM if you can, it's the best block out there still. As to a pump, the DD D5 is the best pump out there if you have the money for it.

That block isn't one of the top performers in the group. Let me list it off for you:

1. Swiftech STORM
2. Swiftech APOGEE
3. Everything else

So, that's it, Swiftech includes both 3/8 and 1/2 fittings for you to set it up. Get either and you won't be disappointed.

alright thanks Theres a Swiftech MCW6002 that im going to bid on rite now its at $10 so if i can grab it for arround 20-$25, ill just get that, this setup is not intended to be a world beating setup, it's just for me to gain knowledge and learn about wc setups, most of those high end setups are worth more than my whole comp I heard that Aquarium pumps can be used but are AC instead of DC, and 300 gp/h is the average flow.
