New Rig Info Plz

I broke my cpu chip on my intel so i decided to swtich to amd.. and switch everything while i was at it so tell me how wel lmy new rigs going ot be plz.

Mobo - Asus A8N-SLI Premium
Cpu - Amd 64 San Diego 3700+
Gfx - Evga 7800gt
Ram - 2 gig crucial ddr400

Old rig
Mobo - intel d865perl socket 478
Cpu - 3.0ghz something...
gfx 9800pro
ram 512ddr

Also could u tell me what the speed difference would be because the amds are 2.2ghz vs my old intel 3.0ghz will u tell me which would run faster thanks alot..

Your new rig will be about 50-60 percent faster then your old rig.

Edit: What you do with amd is times it by 1.5, so 2.2x1.5=3.3. But even though it equals 3.3 it would still be better for video games than a 3.3gh intel.

Also i ordered the zalman 9500 for my intel cpu chip but it broke.. so im gonna place that on my 3700 will i be able to overclock to 2.6+ wiht the 9500 and have stable tempertures thanks alot.. and can u tell me tho why amd speeds are slower then intels tanks alot

Even though AMD's have slower clock speeds(2.2 GHZvs3.0GHZ) AMD's have better performance so those two are about the same speed .Although that 3700+ will give you much better performance and speed.That new rig looks pretty sweet hope you enjoy it

thanks alot ive been having problemss with my old rig for awhile now the tempertures woudl not go down nomatter what i did.. it would stay lidle at 60.. even after i apllied as5 and replaced the hsf like 10 times to mkae sure it was fitted properly.. and then i got mad broke the pin on my 478 intel chip ***** stupid weak pins.. thank god the 3700 has no pins !!!!

Also for the evga 7800gt would the zalmna 7500 be better or the artic silencer 5 rev 3

Ummmm unless you plan on overclocking theres no need for a new heatsink for that 7800 GT,but if you are gonna overclock i beleive that the artic silencer 5 rev 3 is better i'm not sure though.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but the 3700 has pins lol.

omg it does!?!?!?!?! i thought the motherboard was the one with the pins and the cpu went on it!!! argg... i broke my other cpu pin by trying to get the heatsiknk on and then the cpu got stuck on the heatsink with the as5 and it just poped out.. with te cpu on it.... also do u guys think i will be able to overlcok the 3700 sandiaego 2.2ghs to atleaast 2.6ghz?!??!! with a zalman 9500 thanks

im sure you can...i have my 3200 at 2.4 on stock cooling so you shouldnt have a problem.
