Building a new computer, some suggestions, please.

I haven't built a computer for a couple years, so all this is quite new to me now. So, if something isn't compatible, or shouldn't be together because of prior problems, please let me know. If I am wasting my money on some brand that something could do equally well or better, please feel free to tell me.

PROBLEMS I AM NOT SURE I WILL HAVE:
Compatibility issues
What Graphics card to use
What CPU fan to use
(And honestly, anything else, xD)

I honestly don't know if there is any other way to explain the computer I would like to get, but here I go.

Motherboard:
A455-2913 :: Asus P7P55D Pro Motherboard - Intel P55, Socket LGA1156, Core i5. (I am going to be having an i7, though)

CPU:
I69-0860 :: Intel Core i7 860 Processor - 2.80GHz, LGA 1156, 8MB L3 Cache, Quad-Core, Lynnfield, Retail

RAM:
C13-6102 :: Corsair Dual Channel 4096MB PC12800 DDR3 1600MHz Memory (2 x 2048MB)

Hard Drive:
TSD-500AAKS :: Western Digital WD5000AAKS Caviar Blue Hard Drive - 500GB, 7200rpm, 16MB, SATA-300, OEM

Power Supply:
ULT-LSP750 :: Ultra LSP750 750-Watt Power Supply - ATX, SATA-Ready, SLI-Ready, 135mm Fan, Lifetime Warranty

Case:
C283-1187 :: Cooler Master HAF 932 Full Tower Black Case

This graphics card, is the one I picked out, but, I don't know if I want it.

Graphics Card:
P450-5770 :: XFX Radeon HD 5770 Video Card - 1GB GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.0, CrossFireX Ready, Dual DVI, Display Port, HDMI (2.8 lbs)

I realize I am new to the site, I hope it won't jump to judgment.

(EDIT: If I posted in the wrong section, I'm sorry...if there are any other sections that I will obtain more replies, please let me know.)

Couple of things, Yea you could have posted this in the Intel section, I think Intel General is where a lot of build logs go.

Tigerdirect is a reputable site, but many times Newegg.com will have better prices, and better selection.

If you can post what you want to use the rig for AND a budget, some members can put together a smokin rig for you based on those 2 things.

Looks alright, I'm not sure about mobo, you can get better power supplies for the same amount, Corsair makes excellent psu
