Sry I'm new to sli but I'm an avid gamer and I thought the benefits would be good so can anyone tell me if this card would support sli? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814131424Also is it any harder to hook ati cards up for sli or is it jus as ez as nvidia cards and what would i need to do? thanks for any help

As far as i know currently SLI is only nvidia. ATI has Crossfire, but I haven't been up on stuff for a while, so I'm not sure where that technology is right now.

One quick trick I've figured out on Newegg is:

- Go to the main video card page when you can search by attributes
- Select the brand of card
- Select 'yes' in the 'SLI Supported' attribute box
- Hit search

Now correct me if I'm mistaken, but ATI, thus far, doesn't have any SLI capable cards.

*edit* Dern you Ludaz, beat me to the first post!

ATI's offering towards dual cards will be crossfire and nvidia's is SLI neither is compatable, so ati cannot be sli'ed and nvidia cards cannot be used in crossfire.

Ati cards don't run SLI...but the 6800gt in your sig will just fine. Pick up another one and an Sli mb and your all set.
