The boring, practical side of me wants to say: "You should really try to sell it before the hype dies down."

The geeky, enthusiast side of me wants to say: "Keep it!! It's a one-of-a-kind treasure!"

I just hope the results are good for your sake, sir.

Well just what I seen of this chip with my early clocking it looks like a winner but time will tell.

I just don't need the chip it don't make sense to use it for a keychain. I already have way to many Pc's for one guy. Right now I have 3 just for everyday use one is a test rig the others are my hackintosh and my I7 Gamer that it my sig rig.
I also have a HTPC as well. I am fooling around with one or the other all the time and one day I really want to sit down and get back to my gaming, the new Dragon Age is Calling me big time. I just got started on that, when this all came to be.

Just read a thread over at the [H] about someone having this chip. I was going to upgrade from my e6300 (1.86ghz one) to this, but it never came out, so I got an e8400. Joined just cause of your other thread and now very interested to see what that baby wiill do!

You got my attention!

I would not be holding your breath on this chip being released. I don't think that will ever happen .

Anyway Welcome to OCN . We have a good group of people here. I am in 2 forums this one and the EX forum. If your a real techy person then the EX is OK but the people here are a bit more down to earth and just like a said all around great group.

Now I am in a bit of a holding pattern right now as I still need a few part to get this rig up for testing. It may little bit before I get to the good stuff.

And don't forget if you think I am doing a good job and bringing something worthwhile to the group hit me with them rep points. I do want to put the chip up for sale here when the testing is done.

Have you heard of folding good sir? That would be the perfect thing to do with all of that hardware that is just sitting idle (by the sound of it at least).

I id fold for a bit some years ago I will more the likely get back into it again once I get settled with all this stuff I am doing now. I have some parts I was going to put in my old server case. I don't need my date server but for a few hours a night when we watch movie but it always runs. I thought that might be a good thing for that since it runs 24/7 now already. That machine and my Hackintosh run all the time. The rest just when I need them.

I wil check into that in the next week or 2 by then I should be back to a normal around here
