Athlon 64 3000 Venice 9multi
Biostar T-force 6100-939
1gb Gskill pc3200 ZX (tested stable to 290mhz 3-3-2-4 2T 2.8V)

i got bad vdroop i set 1.8 in bios and get 1.68-1.71 real,
320 boots but fails to load windows im pretty sure its the cpu volt dropping under 1.68V under load.
im going to swap out the Capacitors for some slightly higher capacity ones that i had put on my abit board that died recently.
that might hold the voltages a bit more steady,
other than that im out of ideas.
im gonna hit the sack now, i will continue tomarrow.

ok i replaced both sets of caps for the 12 feed and the vcore feed
the 12volt feed had some grabage 1500uf 16v caps i put in some 3300uf 16V caps
the vcore output had 1500uf 2.5V sealed caps i put in 3300uf 6.3V caps
voltage are stable at 1.74V but now it drops my 12V line to 11.89V running linx
i think i need to volt mod the PSU too

edit: this is what i did
stock setup

after 1 hr with the soldering iron

ive seen my PSU hit 11.90v on the +12v rail under load. it isnt a terrible fluctuation...

maybe ur chip just isnt a good OCer? seems other people hit much higher clocks with lower volts.

maybe someone with your motherboard can give you some tips on increasing stability... u can disable any 'turbo boosting' or other performance enhancers for more stability most likely.... start things at the most stable possible, the OC, then try to add back in more features.

I agree. That voltage is within tolerance.
