What is your suggestion?
I would go with 2 x seagate sata dsrive in raid 0 myself. I think you would find them faster for games and pulling up App and also save a few dollars

That looks good, but if you can afford go with 2x 7800gtx's and set them up for SLI and get a 4400+ or a 4800+ since they have 2MB L2 cache compared tot eh 4600+'s 1mb.

One more questions: Should I use windows xp x64 edition or just xp professional?
Highly recommend xp pro because xp64 has horrible driver support. Microsoft doesn't seem to be too concerend with how xp64 works with compatability and have more focus with the production of their new os Vista

Hopefully that will be a better 64bit option

I too would drop the RAPTOR and favour 2 x 120-200Gb SATA SEAGATE's set up in RAID 0.

If you are putting all this together base your OS choice on what you want now ! as you know with Gates and Co. anything can happen in the immediate future ( just look at what happened to LONGHORN ).

cheers
